King Louie Shot In The Head In Chicago

Numerous reports from Chicago locals have confirmed that rapper King Louie was shot in the Windy City earlier today (Dec 23).

While details remain scarce, Louie’s manager has confirmed with Chicago Sun Times writer Charles Perry that the rapper is alive and talking.

The near fatal shooting happened reportedly happened near 83rd and Pulaski in Chicago.

King Louie was shot in the head in the Ashburn neighborhood on the Southwest Side Wednesday afternoon, his management team confirmed. The rapper — whose real name is Louis Johnson — was shot while in a vehicle in the 3900 block of West 83rd Street about 3:30 p.m., according to his management and Chicago Police. Police said he was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition had stabilized. Louie is said to be “up and talking.”
